Hey everyone.
For a while now I've been mentioning to other fellow creative-type-bods that I'm interested in doing some collaborative work now that I have a bit of free time. At first I didn't get much of a response and it's kind of astounding how many people refuse to work with others...
However! Eventually after posting ads on
Twitter and
Facebook I got a fairly big response which I was pretty happy with! Soooooo...I now propose to you that I'm starting an e-zine which will feature work from creatives from all over the place :)
The first issue will focus around a fairly specific theme, just to see what the turnout and level of involvement will be...
The Brief...
Firstly, this project is open to ANYBODY. I'll be posting it around certain sites and blogs to try and get a good level of involvement and hopefully make this as big as it can possibly be.
The brief for the first issue is actually quite simple...take the skull design (below) and customize it however you want. Whatever materials, medium, context or direction you want to take feel free..the more variation the better, it'd be great to see how creative you can get.
(Click the skull for a hi-res image, if the link doesn't work email me at james@deadfuzz.co.uk and I'll send you the file directly.)

The Rules
I'm trying to keep this as open as possible but there will be a a few simple rules. The guidelines (below) show the minimum and maximum size the skull design can be adjusted to, the skull design can be any size in between these ranges. It's important the the design is centered in the middle of the image so that there's a consistent feature throughout each piece. This is only that so as a collection of work every piece relates in some way.
!!!UPDATE!!! Had people asking about the max/min sizes and the dimensions for the artwork. I've included a pic below just to show what the sizes can range between, as for the overall dimensions it's a4/a3....the size of the file is up to you as long as you submit a hi-res 300 dpi image! Remember, the higher the quality the better your work will look :)
Deadline - 11/11/11Send final work to james@deadfuzz.co.uk
Any work which is not in the provided guideline format will be not featured.
Any questions, queries or complaints get in touch at james@deadfuzz.co.uk
Cheers and have fun!
!!!!UPDATE!!!! When submitting please include a NAME, WEB ADDRESS and EMAIL. Ta :)
