I'm turning into one of those unbearable people who make lists of everything to keep their life i order.......find me a cure?

Sketch

Been a while since I posted, but then again it's been a while since I've had anything worth posting about. I've been on and off with a few personal projects for the past month or so now, most of which I'm really glad never saw a final form before I decided to bin them and move onto something else (I did have some cool movie poster mock-ups in the works but when the artwork eventually started the ideas just didn't come together...that may be something I come back to another day).

Anyways, commission time!!! And this is sort of a first for me because a client wants an original piece of artwork producing, no digital work for once 0_0 (even though I probs will produce a few digitally coloured and printed versions just for myself ho ho ho).

So it may be a while before the final things are produced so thought I'd show off some of the rough and prelim work...

The 2 images above are basically what the final pieces will look like, just A1 (ish) size and with a lot more attention to detail.

This sketch is for a personal piece I'm working on, it's a large-scale drawing (A2) and is actually a form of practice for the commission piece...just something I can use to refine my pen and ink skills.

And finally the start of a portrait of the lovely Vicky "Scalliwag" Green which will one day make it to a finished stage.

Anything else to report? Yeah actually. Got a small-time paid apprenticeship application in the works which involves working for the run-up to the 2012 Olympics. Saucy. More on that next month though when I'll know if I've got one of the positions or not.
