But that hasn't been getting in the way of business. I'm still happily working on roughs and have got around to the final stages of the big arse mural I'm part of painting.
However, today my computer decided to do me over and not turn on. When stuff like this happens you can look around on the internet for hours to try and find out what to do but I know if I touch it it'll only get worse. So it's going into the techs on Saturday, hopefully be sorted next week. No Photoshop = Everything comes to a stop. Kind of pathetic really.
HOWEVER, it does give me time to focus on the mural project as well as starting some canvas work for a new ritzy gallery I've only just heard about.
As for now, this is what I've been looking at lately...
(a guy who's sketches I caught in the latest ImagineFX, really great liquid style of figurative...almost where I want to be)
(can't possibly comprehend how cool Pose is...seen his stuff before but read an interview he had in a recent Juxtapoz and wow. The man is just fucking classy...criminal classy.)
(started reading this about a year ago...only just decided to catch up with it. Love the development in Duffield's style as it progresses, it's a testament to awesome figurative and architectural drawings...also with some good PS-ing.)
Sorry for no work.
James
